JOB PURPOSE:

As a Fleet Contracts Manager reporting to the Director, Fleet you will play a crucial role in managing the Organization's fleet documentation. Your primary purpose is to execute contracts for fleet transactions, govern fleet documentation and ensure compliance with the obligations herein.

The Fleet Contracts Manager will also be responsible for supporting contractual negotiations, reporting fleet data, assisting audits and other relevant asset management tasks.

By leveraging your skills and expertise, you will contribute to achieving the organization's fleet objectives, complying with contractual obligations, and supporting the overall success of the company.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Execute new documentation and amendments for aircraft/engine purchase, sale and lease transactions.
  • Liaise with lawyers and other internal areas throughout fleet transactions to achieve a successful, costly efficient, coordinated execution and on-time closing.
  • Review, discuss, draft legal-commercial and structure aspects of the documentation to support negotiations with the other parties.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and financial obligations under the agreements (e.g., procedures, payments, registration) and claim of benefits such as credits and warranties.
  • Be the main point for contractual communications from/to lessors-financiers, manufacturers, lawyers and other internal areas.
  • Suggest, evaluate and recommend new standards to improve RX’s position within the industry and minimize risks.
  • Support internal and external audits covering fleet related contractual queries.
  • Report fleet data for the different financial planning exercises, audits and accounting purposes.
  • Prepare, organize, summarize and administer official documentation for aircraft and engines to consult and access easily and quickly being as digital as possible.
  • Leverage the industry contacts through effective networking.


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Contracts Management, Fleet Financing, Fleet Management or relevant experience within Aviation industry.
  • Proven experience in Airline, Leasing company or OEM related role.


ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in law/business/economics.

Aeronautical/aerospace education is a plus.
